Lunar New Year Polo Bear Sweater

Part of Ralph Lauren’s Lunar New Year collection, this lofty, metallic cashmere-blend sweater depicts the Polo Bear in a festive outfit. A master embroiderer created the season’s Champagne Tux Polo Bear from highly considered materials, including washed silk charmeuse for the jacket, jacket lapels, and shoes, velvet for the coat, cotton broadcloth for the shirt, wool gabardine for the trousers, and lamb shearling for the cuffs and coat lapels. Additional finishing touches, including metallic thread embroidery for the pant’s pinstripes, allover hot-fixed rhinestones for the jacket, and red-tone hot-fixed rhinestones and metallic thread to create the diamond-and-ruby earrings further elevate the bear’s elegant look.
